MyReporter
A user friendly report design widget that will output to a Web Browser, data file or choosewindow.
Web browser and choosewindow
options automatically enable drilling-down into individual items making up the report.
Typical uses include:
- Data audit / reporting
- ETL - Extract, Transform, Load (wikipedia link)
- Inquiry / Review method
- Customer Service
- Transfer log / audit
- Proof or Master lists
- Data forensics reporting
- Sales, Receivables, Payables, Inventory
- Expiration listings, etc
- Custom reporting on-the-fly
- Customer or vendor specific listings
Operation
- Select the database
- Select the fields to include in your report

Then:
- Define the filters and selection criteria
- Define the sorting order
- Select the output method

Output normally defaults to Web browser format

- 'Drill-downs' to inquiry screens are automatically enabled.
- Selection criteria can be embedded within the report heading if needed

Output options include:
- GUI or text based CHOOSEWINDOW with drill-down
- Print options: printer, PDF (with 3rd party PDF utilities)
- Data export: Comma delimited, Tab delimited
- Data export: eXcel spread sheet
- SAVE-LISTS are created of item ID's processed in report
Security
- Individual report columns can be secured so that ONLY fields authorized can be reported on:
- File and field access restrictions can be applied
- Drill down restrictions can be applied
- Accessible as a command from the Nucleus shell:
WIN SCR.MY.REPORTER '{ReportCode}'
- Usage can be monitored
Requirements
- Nucleus release 3.89p60 or greater
- Accuterm 5.3c or greater
