David Tice
In January 1988, Tice founded David W. Tice & Associates, and began publishing Behind the Numbers. His work has gained national recognition through several Barron's articles he wrote, and from Mr. Tice's appearances on business television. He has appeared on the “Nightly Business Report,” “Wall Street Week with Louis Rukeyser” and is a frequent guest on CNBC. Because his talk is very dependent on market conditions, Tice has chosen a flexible title. Who knows if the Dow will be at 4,000 by August, or 12,000? If the market is still high, Tice will discuss why there's no such thing as a new era, why he expects gold to soar and why the dollar may no longer be the world's reserve currency in the future. If the market is collapsing (which Tice believes is more likely), he will discuss where we go from that point, and why it may take as long as a decade to recover from the bear market. Tice has taken the role of a Cassandra to warn investors about the dangers of investing near the end of a secular bear market and has debated nearly every bullish Wall Street strategist.
