Nucleus Modifiers

The PASSWD modifier causes the specified field to not display characters as they are entered.

PASSWD fieldname

An alternative to the PASSWD modifier would be to set the length of a field to zero. This will disable display of the characters being typed, although allowing multiple characters to be typed, unless the justification for the field is set to Unconditional and the length is zero.
