NUEDIT Search/Replace
The SEARCH command is used to perform a search/replace.
The popup dialogue window prompts for the search string, replacement string (optional) and whether to replace all occurrences.
- Search Only - Enter search string and ENTER through replacement string.
- Subsequent searches - Just press SEARCH.
- Terminate Search - Press EXIT or ABORT or CTL+ X. Using the JUMP key to go to line 1 resets the search.
- Search Replace - Also enter the replacement string.
- All Occurrences - Searches and replaces all occurrences.
- Each Occurrence - Use the DUPE key to do the replace. The SEARCH key searches for the next occurrence.
Search / Replace terminates automatically when there is nothing left to replace.
