Richard Stevens

Richard Stevens graduated from UC San Diego with a computer science degree, then began a new career after graduating with high honors from the University of San Diego Law School in 1988. He practiced civil litigation in California, then moved to the Washington, D.C. area where he taught legal research and writing at George Washington University and George Mason University. Mr. Stevens currently specializes in teaching and practicing persuasive writing, particularly in legal briefs and public policy advocacy. His articles on a variety of subjects have appeared in legal and other publications from Ideas on Liberty magazine to S.W.A.T. Magazine. He has authored three books, including Dial 911 and Die, and most recently Death by "Gun Control" (with Aaron Zelman). The award-winning documentary video, Innocents Betrayed, produced by JPFO, was based on his latest book. He will show us why every robbery, kidnapping, rape and murder proves a life-affirming point.
