Nucleus Shell Menus

Nucleus menus may be found in:

  • PARAGRAPHS (Local)
  • SHARED.PARAGRAPHS (Global)
  • NUCLEUS.MENU files, generally located within the Nucleus account.
  • {PROJECT}.MENU files, may be located within the current account or qpointed

Nucleus menus support these forms:

  • GUI tree
  • GUI button
  • GUI bar
  • GUI list
  • Character bar
  • Character list

Navigation
  • You may navigate through the menu using your arrow keys (left, right, up, down)
  • You may press a letter corresponding to any of the highlighted characters and the selection will be highlighted.
  • Pressing the space bar or an arrow key will highlight a selection.
  • Pressing enter will activate the highlighted selection.
  • If a menu selection runs a screen, the screen will be displayed
  • If a menu selection calls another menu, the menu will be displayed in a "drop-down" list format.
  • Clicking on an option with your mouse will set focus.
  • A double click of the left mouse button will execute the option.
  • Pressing the help key will display help for a menu item (if the help item exists).
